Monash Ratepayers are concerned about the poor attendance of Councillors at meetings of Council. In the past 8 months Monash Councillors have recorded 15 absentees. Cr Little, University Ward, holds the record of not turning up to 6 meetings in 8 months. Cr. Bouziotis, Warrigal Ward , 2. Cr. Mc Call, Jells Ward, 3. Cr Lake, Napier Ward, 2. Cr. Dimopoulos, Huntingdale Ward, 2.

    This is the worst recorded attendance of Councilor's in the History of Monash Council. Add to this the appalling lack of knowledge of correct meeting procedure and the gagging of ratepayers at question time. Ratepayers are only permitted one question not exceeding 150 words with no written reply only a verbal response, if at all.  On one occasion ,a councilor treated a member of the gallery in what was described in the press by Cr Mc Call as 'an act of Political bastardy'.
