Question to Mayor Dimopoulos
On the 25th July a letter was sent to Council from a concerned Mount Waverley Trader related to special charges for Marketing of the centre. This letter objected to the special charges and raised a number of questions about it.
A letter of reply was sent on 29 July by Jeffrey McAlpine, for Monash Council in which he stated that he would arrange a copy of the Business Plan to be forwarded to the trader.
Please provide answers to these questions:
· When will you provide the professionally prepared business/marketing plan to the trader?
· What are the types of marketing activity, timeframes, strategy and tactics?
· What media methods will be employed and how will this be apportioned amongst participants in the scheme?
· Is this a serious marketing effort or just another grab for cash by Council?
